hiya mate

I just went through the same steps. got there in the end on my own, then found this I’m getting a problem managing users through the hgadmin repository… every time i add a new user, /usr/local/share/refresh-auth needs to be called, but the variable is not set. I’m not familiar with hooks, and it seems like it might be looking in /usr/share/ as per documentation… can you give me an idea where i might be able to change this path?

Hi, I found this entry googling for a solution to the problem you outline. The nice folks at #mercurial on irc.freenode.net, in particular pmezard, helped me out with it. In my case, my linux distribution had the inotify extension turned on by default. Turning this off fixed the problem for me. You can check whether you have the inotify extension turned on with the command “hg showconfig | grep inotify” In my case, it was turned on in /etc/mercurial/hgrc.d/hgext.rc

If you're having trouble getting it installed the new version of mysql-python requires some different instructions, also if you're using 64 or 32 bit versions of python or mysql will make a difference. Deleting the 70-blah config file didn’t work this time.

Shut down the VM, went into Parallels Config for this VM, Networking -> Network 1 -> Generate Mac — generated a new mac address and eth0 showed up on next boot with that mac address.
